We came to Molokay’s as part of a tour with King David. Molokay’s was our home base for the day. The food was delicious (ok, I had a quesadilla, beans, and rice but it was really good!). My husband had fish and I snuck a bite or two or three and it was perfect. The drinks were good and we loved the musicians that roamed around for a bit playing. It created a very festive atmosphere.

This may put some people off, but I also loved the animals that came waltzing through. A few cats, some dogs… they weren’t on tables, nothing unsanitary, but it was obvious that these creatures knew their way around as they weaved between tables. My kids are animal lovers so this made them very happy.

We had the grilled fish and it was exceptional. Hands down, this was the best seafood I ate in Mexico!

Stopped here for lunch as part of our excursion. The food and service was very good. Prices were very reasonable and so were the drink prices. Very happy with this restaurant. It is an open air venue with access to the beach and ocean.

Great shrimp and cold beer at a great beach-side location. It can be crowded with tourists, so pick your time.
